Lyrics
Translated from Czech by Zuzana Justman

 From “Ester”
Mordecai’s prayer
 Dear God, all powerful king
All things are in your power
No one can resist you
If you wanted to liberate us, Jews
For you are the master of all things
And you know everyone’s thoughts.

From “Květovaný kůň”
It starts with Adam
It starts with Adam
He was a gentleman and Eva a lady (Eva a lady)
They ate only pineapple
They led a happy life (led a life)
Only after they touched an apple,
They left the paradise in shame.
(Left the paradise)
They lived in Paradise, filled with beauty,
unafraid of the evil wolf.
They remembered the old times,
they ate only pineapple.
(Only pineapple)
After they touched an apple
(Touched an apple)
Why did they give up the pineapple?
Why pineapple?)

A Flowered Horse
Flowered horse,
Your shoes are ringing
When you start running,
Your sparks fly and light up
the eyes of the children,
More powerful than daylight.

 Golias
Golias was a terrible man
he had a mouth like a baboon,
he was over two meters tall
he wore armor, sweaters made of wire,
he was like a live tank and also
he screamed like a thousand loudspeakers.

He was insulting and boastful,
he declared war on everyone,
and he issued empty threats,
everyone hid away from him,
until there was Davidek (little David)
who wasn’t scared of him.

David did a lot of thinking,
"a giant, as every child knows,
trained only in a certain way,
in combat with a spear and sword,
so if in this discipline
I don’t beat him, I must do it another way."

Remember, even large tanks
have delicate fronts,
no matter how strong an armor,
there has to be a head above it,
and as for the head, we know,
the smarter one always prevails.

Solo
I’ll run after that dragon,
with a child’s weapon, a sling.

Chorus
That he will show the world, that he is filled with courage,
when Davidek (little David) appeared, he was not scared away,
but he had to figure out how to defeat Golias
and with a head like his, we know the smarter one always prevails.
