The Memorial Service will be led, as in the years past, by Rabbi Norman Patz. Rabbi Patz conducted this service since 1980.

We are honored that Ladislava Begeç, Consul General of the Slovak Republic in New York and and Miroslav Rameš, Consul General of the Czech Republic in New York, will participate in the Service..

In the Memorial Program, Cantor Natasha Hirschhorn will perform songs from the children’s opera Brundibar. Natasha Hirschhorn is a professor at the Cantorial School of the Jewish Theological Seminary, and also the Cantor and the Music Director of Congregation Ansche Chesed in Manhattan.

The opera Brundibar will be introduced by Zuzana Justman, who sang a few times in the Brundibar chorus when interned in Terezin. Zuzana Justman is a writer and an award-winning filmmaker.
